Patterson holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University and has 12+ years of experience in manufacturing operations within food ingredients, specialty chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. He has robust knowledge and experience managing manufacturing operations under strict quality assurance, cGMP regulations, and rigorous change control processes needed for FDA compliance in food ingredients, chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

 

He has been an engineer, continuous improvement coordinator and people leader within world class facilities operated by some of the world’s top companies in food ingredients and specialty chemicals serving consumer, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical markets. He has managed daily operations within cGMP, FDA, NRC, and DHS regulated facilities and has been a leader in continuous improvement; successfully developing metric tracking standards, as well as implementation plans based on LEAN manufacturing principles.

 

Most recently he managed the development and priorities of senior level engineering and maintenance teams, also supporting new product development and project management for the launch of parenteral drugs to the market.
